How to create a Telegram bot using Eleo?
Using Eleo, you can easily make a chatbot for your Telegram channel that talks to users and answers their questions any time, day or night. Once you've set up the chatbot with Eleo, just follow a few simple steps to get it working on your Telegram channel. Here is a step-by-step guide on how to do it.
Start by navigating to the BotFather on Telegram via this link: https://telegram.me/BotFather.
Initiate a new bot by sending the /newbot command to the BotFather.
Proceed to set up your bot by choosing a descriptive Name (such as “superbot”) and a unique Username for it (which must end in "bot").
Once your bot has been successfully created, BotFather will provide you with a bot token. Be sure to copy this token accurately; it should follow a structure similar to: 6913403687:AAGBO3xj61cNSi_RWDGTUXNWgEMW23v0xxx.
Go to the Eleo chatbot control panel and insert the bot token into the “Telegram Bot Token” field.
Click on “Activate” to enable your bot.
To empower your bot with posting capabilities, add it as an admin to your Telegram channel. Ensure you have ownership rights to the channel, and grant your bot the “Post Messages” permission.
Your channel’s users are now ready to interact with the bot. They can do so by prefixing their messages with the bot name followed by a colon. For instance: “superbot: Hello, tell me more about the project.”
