Learn how to create and edit your Chatbot in Eleo.

The assistant proposed by Eleo provides quick and easy assistance 24 hours a day, 7 days a week in 50 languages โ€‹โ€‹โ€‹โ€‹of the world. You can place a chatbot not only in your online store to serve your customers, but also on any website or social media.

Costs are settled based on the words used.

Each question asked by the user and the Chatbot's answer generates a specific number of words that will be deducted from your plan. Learn more ->

The tool allows you to set a word limit to be used in a given billing period, which you can change at any time. After using up the limit, the chatbot will become inactive. You will be informed by e-mail about the use of the limit.

To reactivate the Chatbot you can increase the word limit, and if you have already used up your entire package you can also buy extra words or increase your plan.


Basic functions

  • Your Chatbot name โ€” give your Chatbot a name. It will be visible to you, but remember that after the user asks, the Chatbot may introduce itself with it.

  • Your Story โ€” select a previously created file to add information on which the Chatbot will base its responses. The added Your Story will take up the word limit for each customer's statement in a conversation with the Eleo Chatbot.

  • Tone โ€” choose the tone in which the Chatbot should conduct the conversation.

  • Language โ€” The chatbot can communicate in over 50 languages, depending on the language we address it in (when set to Auto option). If you select a specific language, the chatbot will respond only in that language.


More options

To determine more detailed functions of your Eleo Chatbot, expand the list by clicking More options:

  • Intro โ€” enter the greeting with which the Chatbot will start each new conversation.

  • Monthly limit โ€” set the maximum number of words that the Chatbot can use for all conversations in a given month โ€” you can change it at any time. If you use all the words but the limit is not reached you can buy more words or increase your plan. If you use up your limit, the Chatbot will become inactive. Here you can also see the word usage status in a given billing period.

  • Response lengthโ€” provide the maximum number of words you want the Chatbot to use in each single response to a user's query.

  • Avatar โ€” upload a graphic that will serve as your Chatbot's avatar โ€” it will be displayed in the customer's conversation window.

  • Guru โ€” enable the chatbot to use the latest AI model.


Actions

  • Clear โ€” click to clear the form and start working on your new Chatbot.

  • Generate Chatbot โ€” click to go to Chatbot configuration.


Your chatbot on Eleo

Here you'll learn how to create a separate chat window that you can link to on any website.

  • Link to your chat โ€” the address to your Eleo Chatbot will appear here.

  • Copy link โ€” click to place a link to your Chatbot on your website or social media, e.g. in the Contact tab. After copying the link, you can paste it on any website - by clicking on it, your customers will be redirected to the Eleo Chatbot, with which they will be able to chat without having to register.

  • Open chat โ€” click to open it in a new tab to try out the Chatbot.

  • Active/Inactive โ€” use the slider to enable or disable the tool. An inactive Eleo Chatbot cannot be used, which may prevent it from using words.


Your chatbot on your website

Here you will learn how to configure the Eleo Chatbot for your website.

  • Chat icon โ€” upload a graphic that will appear on the landing page. After clicking it, the user will be able to start a chat conversation.

  • Icon place โ€” specify the place where the Eleo Chatbot icon should be placed on your website.

  • Chat window width โ€” specify the width of the chat window.

  • Chat window height โ€” specify the height of the chat window.

  • Active/Inactive โ€” use the slider to enable or disable the tool. Activating the Eleo Chatbot will allow users to have a conversation with it, while deactivating it will stop it from responding to queries.


Once you have created your Eleo Chatbot, you can place it on your website:

  • Website URL(s) โ€” type or paste the full address or URLs of the websites where you want to place your Eleo Chatbot. If you don't do this, the chat will not be placed correctly on the site.

  • Copy code โ€” click to copy the code snippet that you will include in your website code.


Once you have created your Eleo Chatbot, you can place it on Telegram:

  • Telegram bot token โ€” paste or enter the previously generated Telegram Bot Token.

  • Activate โ€” click to activate your chatbot on Telegram.

  • Deactivate โ€” click to deactivate your chatbot on Telegram.


  • Apply your settings โ€” click to save all your Eleo Chatbot settings.


How are words calculated in Eleo Chatbot?

Remember that when talking to a Chatbot, each subsequent response is created with the context of the previous conversation. Words are deducted from your current bundle with each query. During the conversation, words from:

  • all previous questions and answers (up to 40,000 words),

If you chose Your Story also from:

  • the entire content of Your Story,

  • all content of websites included in Your Story,

  • The 5 most relevant pages of each document attached in Your Story.

Click New chat to reset the conversation and start counting words from zero. However, remember that the conversation window and the previously remembered context will be cleared.โ€‹


How to edit your Eleo Chatbot

To edit a Chatbot:

  • select it from the Chatbots list,

  • make changes to the form,

  • click Update Chatbot.

To remove the chatbot:

  • open the list of Chatbots,

  • find unwanted chatbot,
